For students with motor disabilities, in addition to the museum itinerary, the educational labor- atory on the ground floor, the projection room on the first floor and the BioMa (the REEF), which is an equipped room outside, are all accessible.
For visitors to BioMa with visual impairments, audio guides in Italian and English are available free of charge, which tell the whole immersive journey among the habitats of the Gulf of Tri- este and of the relationship between man and the sea.
A number of multisensory installations enable you to listen to the sounds of the marine envi- ronment and, in the presence of WWF staff, to touch some species of invertebrates inside a tactile tank, making the guided tour suitable for people with low vision or cognitive disabilities as well.
If you would like to organize a guided tour for groups of people with special needs, please contact us by writing an email to info@riservamarinamiramare.it or by calling us on tel: (0)40 224147 ext. 3 and we will be happy to offer you itineraries suitable for your needs.
